Park Support

Financial support for the Pettisville Park has never come from taxes, but instead from individuals making private donations, Friendship Days (our every-other-summer fundraiser) and from Pavilion rentals.

Park expenses ran $17,950 for 2016 and $19,805 in 2017. You can see in the breakdowns (mailed to Pettisville School Residents at year end) these were typical “maintenance” years with no expenses for new projects or major repairs.

Financial Donations are Tax Deductible
Please consider a direct donation to PARC, Inc, to help keep the Pettisville Community Park open to the public. In 1978 the non-profit organization PARC, Inc was created to aid community efforts in building our park. Being a 501(c)(3) non-profit means your monetary contributions to the park are tax deductible.
